What is SALSA Certification?
Written by experienced food safety experts, SALSA is a robust and effective food safety certification scheme which is appropriate for smaller food producers and processors.Approved suppliers can demonstrate that they operate to standards that are recognised and accepted across the industry and exceed the minimum standards expected by enforcement authorities and many retailers
How we can help your business?
SALSA approval is only granted to food manufacturer who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they are able to produce safe and legal food and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard (Issue 5 in place now). We are SALSA approved Mentors and Auditors. We can help you through every stage of achieving the standard, from development through to implementation, helping you pass your first audit then we can assist you to maintain the high standard for the upcoming audits. If you recently had your SALSA audit and want help in closing out any outstanding non-conformances or Action Plans then we can help you doing this at a very nominal cost.

We visit your site and carry out a Gap Analysis of current systems versus required standard. We explain each requirement to you and any relevant staff. We Help you in registering with SALSA. We agree a work plan & time scale with you. We assist you in developing paperwork and manuals based on HACCP principals & HACCP Plan. What is BRC Certification?
If a supplier gains certification against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, it assures the customer that they are dealing with a company that reaches high levels of competence in all critical areas. They will know that their supplier is monitoring and continually improving their product quality, safety and legality, and that they have taken every possible precaution to prevent problems should there ever be a challenge made against a product. The certification audit report will be one of the documents an enforcement authority would require from a retailer or brand owner to demonstrate that their supplier was competent to produce a safe and legal product. The BRC Standard meets the strong need to preserve the integrity of branded products. The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is a single verification that ensures both the fulfilment of legal obligations and of customer protection.

HACCP For All

A HACCP based system is required by law for all food manufacturing and catering establishments (See Reg EC No 852/2004). Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point programs provide the best system of protection against contamination and subsequent prosecution.
Do you have the technical expertise in-house to be able to do this?
